The Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) was the first national association for Latino professionals in the United States. The first chapter was established in Los Angeles in 1972 with one mission in mind: To empower and develop Latino men and women as leaders of character for the nation, in every sector of the global economy. Since then, ALPFA has seen tremendous growth, with over 92,000 members in student and professional chapters across the nation.

The ALPFA UCF student chapter was established in 2007, providing leadership and professional development to Latin American students majoring in finance and accounting. Today, we continue the ALPFA legacy by supporting all students, regardless of where they are from or what they study by including all Business and STEM majors. Through tremendous growth and success, we are proud to be 2019’s National Chapter of the Year, selected from 160 students chapters.

ALPFA National Convention
The ALPFA National Convention is a truly special experience! Thousands of purpose-driven students and professionals gather for a week of learning, networking, and professional growth. Regional Student Symposiums
You can think of Symposiums like a mini Convention. A one day event jam-packed with workshops, networking, and 20+ Corporate Sponsors hiring for job and internships at the Career Fair & Expo.
Fundraisers
We take pride in having the largest chapter presence at Convention every year. This past year, we took a whopping 72 students and funded a large majority of those members. That funding is made possible in large part, by our fundraisers.

Our organization could not run without the hard work of our seven committees. From marketing and event planning to budgeting and securing employers, there is a role for everyone. Not to mention, the skills you learn by being a committee member will help you score your next position!
